Corporate Account Manager - Contracted Foodservice Industry

Scott Daly has served on the Albert Uster Imports sales team for over nine years and is the corporate account manager responsible for the contracted foodservice industry. This focus includes such groups as Compass North America, Sodexho, Aramark and national chain restaurants. His goal is to provide continued innovations and quality service to this industry. He strives to constantly bring new ideas and creative concepts to the table in hopes that his clients can enjoy delicious upscale food.

Professional Background

Mr. Daly grew up in New Orleans where cooking and entertaining are not only a passion but a way of life. The French influence of food and music are deeply imbedded into the roots of the city’s culture. Both his parents share his passion for cooking; his mother helped write and edit a cookbook, his father, a doctor, has a real desire to be a chef. “My first experience in the kitchen was at the age of six, where I surreptitiously started to bake appetizers for my parent’s party. Much to their dismay they actually tasted good.” His family always cooked and dined together, and this special family interaction, he believes, is the foundation for many strong families all over the world.

Following a degree in economics at the University of Kentucky, Mr. Daly moved to Paris, France to study international management at the Sorbonne University. He also received a minor in French from American University of Paris. Following graduation, Mr. Daly moved to Florida where he worked in front office management at Walt Disney World Resorts. After two years he returned to his roots of food, and moved to London, England to work for Town and Country Chocolates as the new market development manager. During his stay, he received culinary training from Lyell’s of London.

Upon his return to the United States, Mr. Daly began working as a sales representative at Albert Uster Imports in Florida. After five years he was promoted to key account manager, where he was responsible for hiring, training, and supporting the sales team on the southeast coast. Then, in January 2004, he was again promoted to his current position of corporate account manager. “Albert Uster Imports,” he says, “has provided me with a consistent environment that is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. This company has helped me to foster a superb work ethic, and I look forward to many more years of service.”
